A question was asked if I'm using the manual setting of my camera. Not yet. Still on auto - but for these I was in child mode to get fast movements. Believe me, when he's fighting for the toy, those ears are a flappin'!

I have a D80 - a friend who is a professional photog said if you're not ready for manual, to always shoot in P-mode. Basically, it's auto but it allows you to control the flash...
Love how you caught the ears flapping! I bought my d80 after I realized that my point 'n shoot digital was too slow to catch a toddler in action! My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner!
