Saturday, April 24th was Baron's birthday. He turned 9. Can't believe this big baby has been around for so long. He's getting to be an old man, but still acts like a small puppy lap dog.
Nine things about Baron at 9 years old.
1. He's always had a blue collar.
2. His favorite toy is the man, but we can't find it right now.
3. He loves cheese.
4. He'll sit on your lap if you'll let him. It's not too comfortable since he weighs 85lbs.
5. He loves getting a belly rub.
6. He's scared of just about everything.
7. He doesn't bark that often.
8. He gets jealous easily.
9. He's much softer than Orion.
He's not good at sharing, but he had to on Saturday. Clarissa turned 5 months.
Five things about Clarissa at 5 months:
1. She loves to suck on the two fingers on her left hand that she is holding out a little in the picture below.
2. She has eaten rice cereal, green beans, peas, squash, carrots and bananas. She likes everything but the bananas.
3. She can roll over, but doesn't do it too often.
4. She laughs, but usually only when both dogs are barking.
5. She has a "talk show" every morning with her stuffed animals. It can sometimes last an hour.
And here she is just being her smiley self. She cried a little after getting her shots, but really didn't do too bad for having her appointment during her nap time!

Nine things about Baron at 9 years old.
We also discovered in the past week that we need to start using the seat belt in Claire's swing. Her Dad and I got some photographic evidence of this. Don't worry, no babies were hurt in any way during this shoot. 
Yes, this last one she did manage on her own. I don't know how, but she did!
I think that the score would be Baby: 4, Parents: 0. We'll get it eventually!
It gets a little messy!!
We'll just keep trying - hopefully she'll get it soon!
On March 14, Claire went to her first birthday party. It was for her cousin Ava. She turned 4. I can't believe she's already 4!! She was having so much fun playing dress up before the cake that her hair got a little messy. Sammy is Claire's other cousin that is on the left in this picture.
This is the outfit Claire wore to the party. It even had little boots! It's from Vallie, her great cousin! Hehehe! The boots didn't fit very well with her baby cankles, but she was still cute in them!
And poor girl, I even had to take a picture of her butt, because the design on the tights was so cute! You can see the boots a little better too.
At Clarissa's baptism, Ava gave her one of her Odies (what Ava used to call all of her dolls) as a present. We kept it at our house until Ava's birthday. Her is Claire and Odie in her swing.
You can see she seems to like it!
But after too much play time - it's time to rest. My friend Heidi made her the shirt - No sugar added, 100% me! And I love the leggings that I got at Target for $.50. Can't beat that!
And, of course she cries when her parents have her! 
She's finally looking at people and being more alert - it's really cool to see!
We even took her swimming in a pool for the first time! 
Don't you love her swimsuit?!? She liked it for the most part. I had to hold her against my chest, otherwise she wasn't happy, but seemed to like it. Hopefully she'll be a water baby by summer!
