Happy Thoughts?

I don't know if any of you have heard about the British study that said that anti-depressants do not work on most people. I was telling Dh about it today. He interrupted me half way through and said - Hell no! I'm not going to live that crazy woman again! Yes, I am one of millions of people currently on anti-depressants. And, yes, I was crazy before I went on them. He told me he didn't want to live with the person that cried over the weather again.

Don't worry, Dh doesn't want me drugged for no reason, he just doesn't want me to be that super depressed woman again. And I don't blame him! I didn't like her either.

Overlooked in my Fridge

The Overlooked prompt came out yesterday. It was to take a picture of your fridge. Here's mine, including the freezer. I just went to the grocery store yesterday, that's why it's full. Probably the funniest things in here is the tubes of sausage that we keep in can coolers in the freezer (they're freezable can coolers) and the fact that there are two beers in the crisper. I have no idea if this makes either product better, but that's where they are living in my fridge.
Otherwise, not much going on. Work has been boring lately - we're in a bit of a lull. Ask me in June if I'd want to go back to this week. I'd probably beg you for it!

I Spy Something Cold

That is what the temperature was this morning at 7:45am. Now that's cold! It's also my picture for the We Spy:You Spy challenge this week.

We had a talking to at work today. The company monitored internet usage for a week. There were over 4,000 hits to sex related sites (I don't know what this all encompassed) and over 5,000 to gambling sites. Can you believe that? I'm going to have to curtail my Two Peas browsing and checking out PerezHilton.com, but gambling? I never thought of doing that at work. They estimated in that one week, each employee lost 19 hours to the internet. I don't quite believe that, but still it's a lot.

In other fun news, I've been dealing with a headache for over a month straight. It's been fun. Yes, it does go away, but never more than a day. Finally I had enough today and made an appointment for Friday. Hopefully it's not my sinuses again. That would suck.

One Little Word, Overlooked and More Scrapbooking Fun!

Here is my One Little Word for this round. The word is Trust. I think the title speaks for itself!
Here is my layout for Overlooked. The subject was collections.
Here are some layouts I did with the February kit from Studio Calico. I love this kit! It was really fun to work with and really challenged me and how I put things together.

This layout in particular was inspired by the Studio Calico design team. They have great designers with great layouts to enjoy.
Another layout I did just with Basic Grey and Hambly. The title is a little hard to read, but it's Winter Wonderland.

Best of Me and I Spy

It's 2 Challenge Tuesday! I finally am caught up (at least until she posts the prompt for this week!) with my Best of Me Challenge.

This was Week 4 - Parcel of My Personal Best - You had to mail yourself some cool stuff and use it for your layout. This is what I did.

Week 5 - Let Go! I have a hard time expressing what I'm upset with, so I decided to let go and let it out!
Week 6 - That One Song - I don't have just one song, but one that means a lot to me is Closer to Fine by the Indigo Girls.
And now for a brand new challenge! We Spy:You Spy - Something #1 - Beautiful. I immediately thought of the day I felt most beautiful, my wedding day. It's not a great picture, but it's what I have for right now. I hope more people will join the Spy Challenge - Beth and Nicole are running it, and they're really fun and inspirational!

What Your Favorite Movies Say About You

There's a cool site called Cinescopes.com that uses your favorite movies to tell your personality. I plugged in my favs:

Clerks
Princess Bride
Center Stage
Dazed and Confused
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
The Usual Suspects
Old School
Clueless
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
Breakfast at Tiffany's

And they came up with this:
You are the Invincible Optimist
Happy-go-lucky and full of great stories, Invincible Optimists can make anyone keel over with laughter. With the power of positive thinking and their upbeat attitude, they're unsinkable even in tough times. If something bad happens to a friend, they're the best at providing words of encouragement. Broken leg? It's an excuse not to work hard. Invincible Optimists love movies about heroes who march over their adversaries with their comic brilliance and affirmative energy.

I'm not really an optimist for myself, but I am for others. I do think it sounds a little like me. What do your movies say about you?

Wednesday

Not much going on this week. I'm really missing my regular TV shows. February is sweeps month, so we'd be having some great TV right now. I did hear a rumor that if the writer's strike ends soon, we could have new Grey's Anatomy by April!! How cool is that?

One thing that did happen, Orion tried to eat my Webkinz. I did get it from him before it was toast. Of course I had to take a picture first! It's times like this when a small dog would be nice - there's no way they could reach to the middle of a desk!
New Top Model starts on the 20th! I'm so pumped!

Weekend Update

This was the view out my patio door on Sunday morning. I love when the trees are covered in frost. I had a great weekend, I was able to scrap some! This is a layout about my niece always wanting to do everything herself: A layout about Baron being so scared all the time:
Layout about my niece with her wand and diva sunglasses in her stroller:
The cover of my One Little Word album - I finally figured out to scan it to make it work!
And finally, my OLW for Create - it's really not crooked, I'm just getting used to my scanner!
Overall a great and productive weekend!
